What always comes to mind is an old twilight zone movie the setting is in the future and a 16 year old must take an aptitude test to place in a competing electronically control world. The scene opens the kid has taken the test and the parents are watching a future type hologram TV for the test results.
Their conversation is just like any student and family waiting for the test results for the child with high anxiety with thoughts, "what if they make him a garbage collector or worse etc.. etc…" then a sound and visual come to TV with results and the voice says, "Henry's test scores are some highest we have ever seen."

The kid similes from ear to ear as the parents break down and cry as the voice explains that he is threat to the system because he so intelligent……………….
And give him his death sentence by lethal injection!
